Quantitation of Aβ levels in Tg-SwDI mouse forebrain. ELISA measurements for Aβ peptides were performed on nondissected brain hemispheres from the different Tg-SwDI mice. A–C, These results showed that the levels of Aβ40 and Aβ42 (A), soluble Aβ (B), and insoluble Aβ (C) were unaffected by APOE background in the total mouse forebrain tissue. ELISA data shown are mean ± SD (n = 10 or 11 animals per group). There was no significant difference between any of the groups.
