Serum VEGF concentrations in 140-day-old TRAMP mice fed 0, 10 or 40 mg 6-MCDF/kg diet starting at 8 weeks of age. VEGF concentrations were determined using a commercial ELISA kit on serum collected at 140 days of age. Separate comparisons were also made for tumor-free sera and for sera from mice with prostate tumors.
