Marie: um last night, um, (laugh) I am gonna sound like such a little gossiper
Donna: that's alright
Marie: um guess who called me?/
Donna: did Sally call?/ [L]
Marie: no. That would be like
Donna: did Chris?/ [L]
Marie: no
Donna: I'm trying. Terry called?/ [L]
Marie: no
Donna: I'm trying to think of like, people who would, who?
Marie: scary Susie called/
Donna: uhhh (gasp)
Marie: yeah
Donna: oh no!
Marie: yeah okay, she called me once/ and then um, I didn't tell you about, okay, so like, what happened was um, that time I got back from Fresno/ you know like way back in January
Donna: like the first time you got back?/ [L]
Marie: yeah, and I was like all sleeping for two days/ and she called /and I didn't know who it was/ and I didn't call her back/ And like she um
Donna: wait was she the one who left that weird message on your machine,/ like, ‘oh, I wish you were home’, /member, and I thought it was Rhonda?/ [L]

Marie: Nancy? oh maybe that was her. I don't know. I never found out who that was/but anyways, so she called /um Kim's like, ‘you have a lot of girl Stalkers’/ and I was like, ‘I know/ I don't like 'em’/
Donna: I know
Marie: but she she
Donna: there's something about you
Marie: she um was um she was like ‘why didn't you call me back?’/ da da da da and I was like, ‘well you know um I didn't know / I was like sleeping for two days, I was out of it’/
Donna: wait this is last night that she's asking about this?/ [L]
Marie: no, okay, no this is over winter break
Donna: right right
