The slow IJP was produced in response to EFS under NANC conditions. Note that the slow IJP was suppressed by pretreatment with TTX and ω-CTX GVIA but nifedipine had no effect (data not shown). Moreover, calmodulin antagonist, W7 and nNOS inhibitor, L-NAME also blocked the slow IJP. Representative sIJPs are shown at the top of the bar of the respective treatment groups.
