Hyperoxia decreases NF-κB-driven luciferase reporter activity. Fetal lung fibroblasts stably transfected with pNFκB-luc were exposed to hyperoxia (4, 8, or 24 h) or incubated with TNF-α (4 or 8 h at 20 ng/ml). Fold induction of photon emission was measured by an in vivo imaging system. Values are means ± SE of 6 independent experiments for each group.
