After removing the unbound TPT from the proteasomes in an Ultrafree-MC centrifugal filter unit (MW cutoff, 5 kDa), the proteasome preparations were measured for CT-like activity (D) and β5 subunit levels in Western blotting (E). (F) TPT at 10 μmol/L inhibited proteasomal CT-like activity in a time-dependent manner. Data are mean ± SD from three experiments.
