A: Wild type mice show numerous olivocochlear fibers crossing the tunnel of Corti to the outer hair cells (OHCs; long arrows). The inner spiral bundle (ISB, short arrows), which carries olivocochlear fibers to the inner hair cell area, is also labeled.
