AtRibF1 and AtRibF2 localize to chloroplasts. N-terminal EGFP fusions to putative organellar targeting peptides of AtRibF1 and AtRibF2 were transiently expressed in A. thaliana protoplasts. Non-fused EGFP in the pUC18-GFP5T-sp plasmid was used as a control for targeting to the cytosol. Subcellular localization was analyzed by fluorescence microscopy.
