Arming of the dlE102 vector with mGM-CSF by using the furin-2A cleavage sites. mGM-CSF-armed vectors were generated from the parental dlE102 vector that contained a deletion in the high-affinity pRB binding domain (CR2). In the DLFM vector, the furin-2A-mGM-CSF cassette was placed after the last codon of the MAV-1 L3 gene and the L3 stop codon was removed. In the DMFL vector, the mGM-CSF-furin-2A cassette was placed immediately upstream of the MAV-1 L3 gene. ITR, inverted terminal repeat.
