Effects of cholesterol supplementation on lentiviral vector production. 120C-S cells were induced at 0.5–1.5 × 10⁶ viable cells/ml. Cholesterol (0.01 mM) was added at periods P + I + II (Fig. 1) during vector production. Viral vectors were then diluted and used to transduce HeLa cells to obtain the vector titer. All values were normalized to those under control condition at each collection, in which the same volume of viral vector produced without cholesterol supplementation was used to transduce the cells. Data points represent the mean ± S.D. (n = 2–3).
