HT: Hypertension diagnosis based on medical notes and prescription of antihypertensive drugs; DM: diagnosis of diabetes mellitus based on medical notes and prescription of antidiabetic agents; Elevated TG: triglycerides ≥ 150 mg/dl according to medical records from the last laboratory blood tests; Reduced HDL: HDL-cholesterol ≤ 40 mg/dl (for men) and ≤ 50 mg/dl (for women) according to medical records from the last laboratory blood tests.
