Alg13p, Alg14p, and Alg7p cofractionate during gel filtration chromatography. Detergent extracts prepared from strains coexpressing myc-Alg7p with HA-Alg14p (XGY151 + yEpGAP-mycAlg7) (Panel A) or with HA-Alg13 (NAY13 + yEpGAP-mycAlg7) (Panel B) were clarified by centrifugation, filtered, and fractionated by FPLC on a Superose 12 column. Two hundred microliters of fractions were collected; aliquots subjected to SDS–PAGE and immunoblotted with the anti-HA or anti-myc antibody. The elution profile of protein molecular weight standards run in parallel fractions is indicated graphically.
