Table 1.

For each spectrum level of the broadband (100–3000 Hz) diotic external noise masker (columns 1 and 2), the table lists the parameters of the internal noise computed by the analyses (columns 3 and 4). Based on the assumption that the external and internal noises are combined, the last two columns list, respectively, the increase in effective power produced by the addition of the internal noise to the external noise and the effective interaural correlation of the combined external and internal noises.
