Concurrent depolarization and oxidation potentiate Ca2+ signaling. (A) Fura-2-loaded undifferentiated PC12 cells were subjected to a series of 400-s K+-depolarizations ([K+]o = 35 mM) applied every 15 min. (B) Control K+ depolarization followed by application of 0.03% H2O2 and the subsequent K+ depolarization. (C) Control K+ depolarization followed by combined application of high [K+] and H2O2 and the following K+ depolarization.
