Suppression of SOAEs from a single ear after repeated oral administration of acetylsalicylic acid. A dose of 35 mg⋅kg⁻¹ twice daily for 2 days suppressed emissions at all frequencies in the range of 0.5–5.2 kHz. Although the power in some emissions fell to as little as 15% of its control value, the pattern of emission frequencies was largely preserved.
