CYP7A1 induction by fasting is blunted in liver-specific FoxO1 knock-out mice. A and B, total RNA was isolated from fed or fasted (24 h) I-FoxO1 and littermate control mice. mRNA levels were analyzed by q-PCR as described under “Experimental Procedures.” Results are expressed as -fold change relative to those of the fed littermate control. The mean values obtained from triplicates in each group as shown with error bars.
