Glepp1 inhibitors reduce DSS-induced ulcerative colitis. Ulcerative colitis was induced in mice through administration of DSS in drinking water over 7 days. The test compounds were orally administered at days 3, 4, 5, and 6 after the induction of the ulcerative colitis at doses of 3, 10, and 30 mg/kg (Compound 2) or 30 mg/kg (Compound 1) twice daily. Sham, healthy mice that did not receive DSS. Sulfasalazine. ns, nonsignificant (i.e. p > 0.05).
