Proliferation of leukocytes is reduced following nylon wool purification. Cells from lymph nodes of C57Bl/6 mice were isolated and either untreated or purified using nylon wool columns as described in materials and methods. Cells were then stimulated with immobilized anti-CD3 antibodies for 72 hours. Proliferation was assessed using an MTS assay system as described in materials and methods.
