A. HHT and Bru inhibit polysome formation in Pten+/−Eμ-Myc tumors. Mice bearing well-palpable Pten+/−Eμ-Myc tumors were treated with either vehicle (DMSO), HHT (0.25 mg/kg), or Bru (0.5 mg/kg). Two hours later, tumors were harvested and cell extracts prepared and fractionated through 10%–50% sucrose gradients. Polyribosomes were monitored by measuring the OD260 using an ISCO UA-6 UV detector. The experiment was repeated two more times with similar results.
