Alanine dosimeter placement in measurement jig (photo) and reported results with position relative to beam central axis. The jig was placed for irradiation in a water phantom. Directly after the alanine irradiations an ionization chamber was used to measure the relative doses at the alanine measurement locations. The alanine and ionization chamber measurements are normalized here to the central axis values, respectively. The result indicates excellent agreement between the detectors and field uniformity.
