The filtering lines are sampled such that interpolation needs to be done only in vertical direction. In horizontal direction, both detector grids coincide. The figure shows a case with five filtering lines. As illustrated, the detector values that are at the two positions (crosses “+”) within the dashed circle on the left are interpolated to produce the rebinned detector value within the dashed circle on the right.
