DIRECT with blob and list-mode (TOF) reconstructions (2nd and 3rd row) are shown at matched noise (and contrast) levels. Bottom row shows non-TOF list-mode reconstruction with similar noise level, but lower contrast. We illustrate also DIRECT reconstruction with resolution modeling (top row) at a high iteration number (30 iterations), to demonstrate that resolution modeling improves lesion contrast without introducing background artifacts.
