Mean percent correct scores as a function of the cutoff frequency f (i.e., frequency location of the ideal binary mask) for the two types of maskers tested. The f=0 Hz condition corresponds to the baseline vocoded stimuli which made no use of the ideal binary mask. All stimuli were processed via 32 channels. Error bars indicate standard errors of the mean.
