Note that as in Fig. 4 there is a large early central/posterior effect resulting from L1 ERPs being more negative-going (blue areas at 200, 300, 400 and 500 ms) and a large late anterior effect resulting from L2 ERPs being more negative at anterior sites (red areas at 500, 600, 700 and 800 ms).
