IPC increases the levels of εPKC mRNA in synaptosomes at 48 h of reperfusion. mRNA was measured using RT-PCR in homogenate and synaptosomal fractions of hippocampus of animals belonging to sham (n = 3) or IPC (n = 3) groups.
