CURC inhibited, with or without prolactin, the expression of β-casein. HC11 cells were maintained under proliferative conditions, in the presence of 10 ng/ml EGF and 5 µg/ml insulin to reach confluence and, then, incubated for 48 h in differentiation medium containing 1 µM dexamethasone and 10 ng/ml insulin, CURC (100 ng/ml) and/or prolactin (5 µg/ml).
