Cells were grown aerobically in LB medium with the addition of 2% glucose at 30°C for 48 h. IPTG (1 mM) was added when the OD₆₀₀ reached 0.4 to ∼0.8. Data are presented as the average value and standard deviation of measurements from three independent cultures.
