Role of enolase in a mouse model of A. hydrophila SSU infection. The recombinant enolase-immunized Swiss Webster mice as well as the nonimmunized mice were intraperitoneally challenged with a lethal dose (2 to 3 LD₅₀s) of WT A. hydrophila. The deaths were recorded, and mice were observed for 3 weeks after challenge.
