IFN-related gene expression patterns correlate with early progression to fibrosis in human patients. Expression profiles of 18 genes that encode components of IFN signaling and IFN-inducible proteins. Two-dimensional hierarchical clustering was performed with green and red bars showing decreased or increased levels of mRNA in a time point biopsy relative to the corresponding baseline biopsy (obtained from the same liver graft at the time of transplantation), Patients with early progression to fibrosis are indicated by red labels.
