Sample force and EEG time courses and division of the data sections. The upper part is the force data of a handgrip trial; the lower part is the corresponding EEG signal (C3). The trigger (time “0”) is defined as the time at the 10% rising point of the force being generated in the trial. The active period is defined as the time from −0.75 to 3 s. The rest period is from 3 to 2 s prior to the trigger.
