There are a total of 666 probands, but there are 333 sib-pairs, so we generated 50 000 permutations of unrelated probands and the median (empirical 95% CI): (i) allele A frequency is 0.522 (0.500, 0.543) (ii) OR (A vs G) is 1.19 (1.09, 1.29) and (iii) OR (AA/GA vs GG) is 1.34 (1.16, 1.57).
