Apigenin markedly decreased interleukin-6 (IL-6) production by lupus dendritic cells (DCs). DCs from unmanipulated 3-month-old SNF1 mice were stimulated with nucleosomes (30 μg/mL), CpG (2.5 μg/mL), and R837 (1 μg/mL) in the presence of various amounts of apigenin.
