CD4+naïve T cells (5 × 10⁴ cell/well) were co-cultured with graded doses of M1-, M4-, T-cadinol-, calamenene- or LPS-primed DC, and on day 5, [³H]-methylthymidine was added 16 h before measurement of the proliferation response. Data are the mean cpm ± S.E.M. of five independent experiments. *P < 0.05 compared with immature DC; #P < 0.05 compared with LPS-primed DC.
