Term Definition
Cognitive Task Analysis A family of methods for gaining access to the cognitive processes that underlie performance of tasks, and the cognitive skills needed to respond adeptly to complex situations.
Naturalistic Decision Making (paradigm) The scientific study of decision-making in complex, natural environments.
Dyad Aa two-person team.
Ethnography Use of qualitative research methods to provide a detailed, in-depth description of everyday life and practice. The ethnographic approach has its roots in cultural anthropology.
