Reference values for serum procollagen III aminoterminal propeptide (PIIINP) are the same for both males and females (1.7 to 4.2 μg/L). For serum procollagen I aminoterminal propeptide (PINP) the reference area for females (19 to 84 μg/L) is slightly broader than for males (20 to 76 μg/L) and is presented in darker grey.
