Insulin-stimulated PI_3,4,5P₃ generation is comparable between nelfinavir-treated and control cells. 3T3-L1 adipocytes were electroporated in the presence of plasmids encoding the GFP-tagged PH domain of GRP1 to detect PI_3,4,5P₃ in intact cells. Nelfinavir (Nelf) treatment (when indicated) was for 18 h with 30 μmol/liter. Cells were rinsed and then left unstimulated or stimulated for 10 min with insulin and then fixed and visualized by a laser confocal microscope. Shown are representative cells from three different experiments.
