Neuromuscular strength and motor coordination was as indexed by the latency to fall (in sec) from the hanging wire (A) and accelerating rotarod (B), respectively. The performance of mutant and controls animals appeared highly comparable across the two neurological tests indicating that the mutation did not affect motor functions. All values refer to mean ± standard error of the mean (SEM).
