Bioelectric responses (IEQ and RT) of MAECM grown on laminin 5-coated polycarbonate filters to amiloride or ouabain instilled into the apical fluid at time 0. Initial mean IEQ and RT for MAECM treated with amiloride (10 μM) were 8.4 ± 0.8 μA/cm2 and 1.9 ± 0.2 kΩ·cm2, respectively. Initial mean IEQ and RT for MAECM treated with ouabain (100 μM) were 7.9 ± 0.7 μA/cm2 and 1.8 ± 0.2 kΩ·cm2, respectively.
