Gold nanoparticle modification and stabilization with a trifunctional MSAP. a) The trifunctional MSAP (Scheme 2) was reacted to the surface of a gold nanoparticle (AuNP) to obtain a trifunctional MSAP-AuNP probe. b) Absorption spectra of the trifunctional MSAP reagent, AuNP and MSAP-AuNP probe.
