Ivocap and Lucitone acrylic substrates support equivalent C. albicans biofilm growth. Acrylic was conditioned with saliva, inoculated with C. albicans (10⁶ cells/ml), and incubated for 24, 48, or 72 h at 37 °C. Cells were quantified with phase-contrast microscopy. Mean cell numbers and standard error are reported. There was no significant difference in biofilm cell numbers between either acrylic at any time interval (p > 0.10).
