ORP2 overexpression causes a dispersal of LDs. A431 cells transfected with the ORP2 cDNA were treated overnight with 350 μM oleic acid-BSA, fixed, and processed for immunofluorescence microscopy using rabbit ORP2 antibodies. LD clusters in untransfected cells are indicated with arrows and dispersed LD in ORP2 overexpressing cells with arrowheads. A: Staining for ORP2. B: LDs visualized with Bodipy 493/503. C: Overlay of the channels. Bar = 10 μm.
