SDS–PAGE analysis of the purified recombinant hTim14/Pam18s-yTim16/Pam16s complex. Human Tim14/Pam18s and yeast Tim16/Pam16s were co-expressed in bacteria. Only the latter contained an octahistidine tag. Purified protein was analyzed using 16% SDS–PAGE, and stained with Coomassie blue. A) Ni-agarose column.
