Combined haplotype data from 120 GCT-positive backcross mice analyzed with 18 SSLPs that span chromosome 13. Open boxes represent homozygous 129S3 alleles and filled boxes represent heterozygous alleles. The SSLP used to generate each row of the haplotype data set is indicated on the far left, and the number of mice with each haplotype combination represented is indicated along the bottom. The SSLPs are ordered according to their published map positions (The Jackson Laboratory Mouse Genome Database, http://www.informatics.jax.org/) (indicated to the right) from the most centromeric (top) to the most telomeric (bottom). The map order for five SSLPs, denoted with an *, was changed to minimize the frequency of double recombinants in the data set. These reassigned map positions are listed first with the published map positions listed in parentheses.
