Malignant: periampullary (i.e. pancreatic, ampullary, distal common bile duct, duodenal) adenocarcinomas; intraductal papillary mucinous neoplasms (IPMN) with high-grade dysplasia, carcinoma in situ, or invasive malignancy; other metastatic lesions. Benign: inflammatory disease (i.e. pancreatitis and stricture); periampullary adenomas; IPMN with low- or moderate-grade dysplasia; serous and mucinous cystadenoma; non-invasive neuroendocrine tumors.
