Measurements of the RNS over time of the “relaxed” relA mutant after addition of SHX and then treatment with rifampin. Results are for the “relaxed” relAΔ251::kan mutant (DJ2650) cells after addition of SHX only (triangles) or after treatment with SHX for 20 min followed by the addition of rifampin (circles).
