Activation of Ras interrupts induction of antiviral genes by IFN-α. Vector control cells (Cont) and RasV12 cells were stimulated with IFN-α (500 U/ml) for 0, 6, and 12 h. Northern blot analysis for OAS, Mx, and GAPDH mRNA was performed. The density ratios of OAS (OAS/GAPDH) and Mx (Mx/GAPDH) to GAPDH are shown as percentages normalized to values for vector control cells stimulated with IFN-α for 6 h.
