Proposed model for the organization of F-actin via concerted regulation of Kette by PTP61F and dAbl. Y482 phosphorylation (P) of Kette by dAbl kinase promotes F-actin assembly and lamella formation. This signaling event is negatively regulated by PTP61F, which dephosphorylates Y482 of Kette. Alternatively, PTP61F may downregulate the kinase activity of dAbl, resulting in lower phosphorylation of Kette.
