In the same patch, the effect of MgPPi was dramatically reduced when applied together with 5 mM ADP. (B) Summary of data presented in A. Steady-state current induced by MgPPi or MgPPi plus ADP was normalized to original ATP-dependent current. I_MgPPi/I_ATP = 0.53 ± 0.036 (n = 5); I_MgPPi-ADP/I_ATP = 0.065 ± 0.014 (n = 5; P < 0.01).
