Cellular localization of RARα protein fragments or mutants fused with GFP in the HEK293T cell line. Cells were transfected with GFP-expressing plasmids with inserted cDNA for RARα fragments or mutants designated in Figure 2. The position of the GFP tag is at either the N terminus (A–L) or the C terminus (M–X). Four days after transfection, cells were observed by confocal laser scanning microscopy.
