Cofractionation of RARα proteins with the cytoskeleton. Primary rat HSCs were cultured on plastic dishes for 7 days for spontaneous activation. Cells were collected and fractionated into four cellular components. Each fraction derived from the same amount of cells was separated by sodium dodecyl sulfate polyacrylamide gel electrophoresis (SDS-PAGE) and analyzed by Western blotting using several antibodies indicated in the figure.
